In a bottom-up direction the shades of the rainbow are represented in the chakra system and each chakra, each energy center, has a different frequency and a corresponding color.
The colors of the chakras
Know each of the tones present and what is their relationship with each energy center:
Red – 1. Root chakra (Muladhara): it is the most visually stimulating tone and gives a signal of danger or warning. When this chakra is imbalanced the person may feel insecure.
Orange – 2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana): the color represents the joy, strength and vitality that should exist in this energy center so linked to self-confidence, sensuality and sexuality.
Yellow – 3. Chakra in the solar plexus (Manipura): it is linked to the person’s self-esteem, confidence and intellect, that is why its frequency is identified with the same color of the sun.
Green – 4. Heart Chakra (Anahata): is right in the middle of the chakra system and connects them all. In the heart is the energy center for compassion, love, forgiveness and this shade which is an exact combination of yellow and blue is linked to health and growth.
Turquoise blue – 5. Chakra in the throat (Vishuddha): it is linked to the ability to communicate effectively, so this color provides the calmness that the mind requires in the face of so many thoughts that may or may not be expressed.
Indigo blue – 6. Third eye chakra (Ajna): is a shade of balance between the fire of red and the peace of blue, all this so present in an energy center linked to self-knowledge, clarity, intuition and awareness.
Violet – 7. Crown chakra (Sahasrara): is the tone of higher vibration of all the others and accumulates the energy of the other 6. It is an energy center related to the connection of the higher self and the universe, so this color has a halo of mystery and purification.
